It’s the same with multiple teams and multiple sports. The Raiders gear was huge on the west coast when NWA repped them. UNLV basketball was well represented in the 80’s and early 90’s and people who didn’t even watch college basketball had a Runnin Rebels jacket. Larry Johnson went to UNLV and then played for the Hornets so there’s a connection there.

Miami dolphins starter jacket here. Caught fire from pouring gas in my snowmobile. My whole back and left shoulder look narly.
I actually liked the team. I was big into basketball, Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning were both amazing young talents at the time. I had a hornets jackets, a pistons one, and a pacers jacket. I got one when the raptors became the expansion team as well. That was probably my favorite one.
