This diving pose is burned into my memory! I went on a scuba boat in Australia. An older Chinese man arrived late. He didn’t speak English, but his teenage daughter said he was an advanced diver. The skipper looked at his papers and had him sign a waiver. At the reef, he insisted on being the first to dive. He climbed over a rail to the wrong part of the boat, in full scuba gear, and dove from 8 feet above the waterline, exactly in the pose like the girl in this video! Nobody realized what was happening because it was so crazy. He had to be rescued, and it’s a miracle he was okay. It turned out that he had never dived before, he couldn’t even swim, and had borrowed the gear and certificates from someone! His daughter claimed that he had been watching youtube videos about how to dive.
