Costco is suing because they are worried, and with good reason, that while the SCOTUS may rule the president’s unilateral taxation without our representatives input is in fact illegal, not to mention unamerican to the core, they may not demand the taxes be repaid unless you brought a suit. So Costco is suing to make sure they get a refund
Bear in mind *we the people* are the ones who were actually paying these taxes. Most any corporation that gets a refund will just have that as a windfall, they aren’t going to send money back to the people that paid for Trump’s taxes.

A lot of them are legitimately arguing they should sue Costco for having to pay membership fees. That’s right, they equate the president of the US unlawfully imposing tariffs on pretty much everything you need to live as being exactly the same as a private company simply offering you a choice to pay to shop there instead of any number of retailers where it’s free to shop.

Fuck’em. Boycotting Costco and spending more money elsewhere over the perceived insult to Trump just shows how dumb they are. Not having them and their packs of kids and Tradwives in the stores will improve the atmosphere and shorten the checkout lines. We should all support this boycott.
