How much do these fuckers think it will cost when large areas of habitable land become submerged in sea water?

It makes sense that CORPERATIONS would be against producing cheaper energy, because they have to put in place all new infrastructure that they can then not charge as much money for the service, and its dumb but i get why they would rather keep charging more money for fossil fuels which they can get easily, with existing infrastructure, or by stealing it from 3rd world countries.
people, however, should have no preference for energy source they should just want the cheaper energy. well ideally they should want cleaner energy because its cleaner and they live on earth, also, but even if you take that out of it; the notion of people defending the more expensive (to them) energy sources, is baffling. its purely because people who they dont like DO like it, and the people they like say its bad for some nebulous reason, so they would rather pay more and say they dont like clean energy. thats it, when it comes down to it. They want to pay more for the luxury of being a dick. hope that helps them sleep i guess.

When some people find out I drive an EV they’ll say ‘The power plant that makes electricity for your car still creates pollution’ as a Gotcha! I explain that because I do 95% of my charging at home it cost about $10 to drive 250 miles. That’s cheaper than the gas prices I was paying in the 90s.
