Most (if not all) things that aired in the Chinese-speaking regions (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, not sure about Singapore) are subbed, regardless of whether they’re dubbed or not. You can choose the dubbed version (very few would do that, though), but you still have to read the subtitles anyway.
I believe there are two reasons for that: first, written Chinese is compact enough, so the subtitles don’t occupy as much space as those in other languages, which also allows its users to read faster and doesn’t have to constantly pause to read the subtitles. Second, sometimes people from different regions tend to have a strong accent when speaking Mandarin due to the influence of local dialects or languages, and it’s often hard to understand them if there’s no subtitle. To avoid that, they just put subtitles on everything.

Subbed 100%. Can’t beat the original language. I can’t read that fast, though 😛

I am from Hong Kong, I watch anime subbed (either in Chinese or English subtitle). I prefer listening to the original VA and the dub version are usually available much later after the original release date.

You know what’s worst? When the dub is in your language but your country has only a few voice actors and you start hearing cartoon characters from your childhood speaking as anime people..
