My daughter loves this musician I had never heard her music until she was on Saturday night live a few weeks ago, glad to know she can sing, and has a brain. I hope more musicians start making protest music for this fascist antimigrant agenda.

this isnt the first time the goverment uses other peoples art/music without permission/approval first.

I got a copyright strike on a youtube video for playing goddamn Mozart… and the government just says fuckit and adds music without permission, hopefully they get punished enough to stop it and make original content lol. like me. i cant play mozart for under 10 seconds on a youtube video like I did. i didnt even edit that video i was just thinking who cares its music from over a century ago its fiiine. but no.

Artists have the right. At least they used to, to have their music removed from use from sources that go against their beliefs. A band done it in the UK when the conservative party used their music in a campaign.
Edit: I checked and it’s a UK law due to how performing rights licenses work…they literally need a loi’cence for that. At least that’s a better use of our legislative practices
