
A remarkably well-preserved Roman sarcophagus has been discovered in Budapest. The sarcophagus was found with its stone lid still fixed in place, secured by metal clamps and molten lead. When archaeologists lifted the lid, they found a complete skeleton surrounded by dozens of artifacts. [1440×958]

Why would the bones be to the side like they rolled over? Were they alive when buried?
We need to start burying our loved ones with cool shit. Future archaeologists will be sad if we don’t.
