      Explanation: The only advantage France had in this war was the Chassepot rifle having longer range than the German “needle-gun” or Dreyse rifle. It wasn’t enough and France lost almost all the battles and the war.

    2. Hey they had a better navy too that also didn’t do shit for a French victory, and indeed lacked the coal-carrying capacity to even maintain a proper blockade
