    2. Wonder what kind of future that young Black boy in the South in the 1920s had ahead of him. It was probably a very rough road. Though he is well-dressed, which hopefully suggests he was well supported at this stage.

      And could a rooster expect to be other than someone’s dinner?

    3. I don’t have roosters and I’m not of a minority in a major way ( as in I’m like 1/16th) but my boy sure do love his chickaboos all the way in Australia…and there is just something soothing about kids with a chicken..even when I’m dragging them out of their hands…but they follow him like he is the chicken god..trampoline..cubby house..shower…GTFO of my bathroom
