    1. Disclaimer: By the way, if you’re wondering why I didn’t have Ishida Mitsunari. To be completely fair to the man, we are unsure of his motivations of going against Ieyasu. He just seemed like a diehard Toyotomi Loyalist

Finally someone posted about my favorite hyper-specific niche historical time and place fuck yeah keep it up!

I’m pretty sure Oda came up with the method of alternating three different musketeers to increase firing speed

Kyudo is one of the coolest forms of archery

How much blood is on ol’ Akechi’s hands though? He definitely set the clock back on unification, I would think. Would Oda have unified the country? He was pretty controversial at the time, aside from obviously being the one everyone wanted to take down.

Why did Akechi Mitsuhide do the deed? Still a mystery, ultimately, last I looked into it.

Speaking of assassinations, RIP Yoshiteru, brother of Yoshiaki and the vastly superior penultimate Ashikaga shogun

I’m going to force myself to stop typing here; you’re welcome.

“Oda Nobunaga pounded the rice, Toyotomi Hideyoshi kneaded the dough, and Tokugawa Ieyasu ate the cake”

I always love the Tanuki. He is really enduring lot of hardships like being trampled by Takeda at their golden era under Shingen, ordered by Nobunaga to kill his wife, battling Mitsunari with inferior number as his son army come to late and Hideaki being indecisive to switch side.

Lastly I love his quote in Samurai Warriors 2. “Slow but steady win the race”

    4. Tokugawa played the world’s greatest waiting game and he was the champion. Except maybe King Charles could challenge him.
