Glad I don’t have to hear that dumbass again talk about black pilots.

Show them the love they deserve. Black women stay phenomenal.

Black women are impressive in a way that’s hard to describe to people that don’t really spend any time with people in the black community.
I’m white, I grew up in an urban area, and some of the most important people in my life have been black women. Teachers, neighbors, bosses, family.
I hate so much that a random person can see a black woman as a pilot (or just a black person or any other race of woman) and act like the plane is gonna crash. You see those crazy ass tweets sometimes.
Black women have to be strong in ways that other women don’t and they still find the time to be compassionate.
Rant over, major props to the woman in this video.

That was beautiful. /salute
Edit: I listen to a lot of podcasts while I go for walks and do projects around the home, and I had a podcast recommended to me that focused primarily on SOF, and so I subscribed and downloaded hundreds of episodes, which took a while, and then started their most recent release. Within 2 minutes they were shit-talking DEI pilots, etc., and I noped the hell out in disgust. The fact that people feel safe saying such horrible things fills me with a terrible anger and hurt.

lowkey if i saw my pilot was a black lady i would immediately feel safe, could fly all the way to our destination upside down and i would have faith.
I want to follow her around all day and get the double-takes when people find out she’s a jet pilot. No reason she couldn’t be, it’s just that she’s the visual opposite of Tom Cruise.
Except for the height. She might have an inch or two on TC, actually….
