      It doesn’t hurt the administration to cast these wide assertions because their supporters don’t see this.

      They throw out narratives like this to make Americans feel the need to bring back “the glory days” so to speak.

      Overall, this is targeted at anti-trumpers, though.

      This is an extension of class conflict. It meshes with thier disdain for the ‘lower classes’, thier crude manner of dress amd thier bad manners (not bowing thier heads when thier betters are present). If you havent the means or inclination to dress in a suit and tie or at least business attire you have no business travelling on a plane which is an activity that should be reserved for the elite.

      Just another case of them looking down thier noses at you.

      *in theory* I actually agree with this, and think people do need to be a little more civil and courteous of others when flying. Some people dress like total slobs or take their stinky feet out of their shoes, etc. not saying everyone needs to wear suits and dresses, but a little courtesy and hygiene would be nice.

      I recognize that it’s the wrong messenger, though.
