Why pick on a kid. You could have listened to the Kevin Hasset interview. According to him lowering tariffs lowers costs, but the previous tariff increase didn’t increase costs. He didn’t go into the economic theory behind this. Maybe it’s too complicated for ordinary mortals to understand.
Besides Hasset has a goofy smile which makes his comments even more amusing.
