So they should be obeying UNLAWFUL orders? Guantanamo comes to mind.

“His” military? OUR military. OUR White House. As Jon Stewart argued (not an exact quote), the “capital” of American exceptionalism, ingenuity, and doggedness is our gold, and he’s just the temporary leprechaun who gets to hold it for a bit of time.
ETA: The quote is: **”You are not the keeper of our pot of gold. You are a temporary leprechaun.”**
This statement was part of a segment on *The Daily Show* in late April 2025 where Stewart criticized Trump’s economic arrogance and trade war strategies. Stewart argued that the “leverage” and the nation’s “pot of gold” belong to the American people, not the president, and that Trump was squandering 250 years of “painstaking equity”.

Disobeying unlawful orders isn’t just an obligation, it’s a legal requirement. If any of these knucklefucks had ever served, they’d know that.

Reminder – Graham was a JAG officer. He knows, he fucking KNOWS, that under the UCMJ service members have a duty to disobey unlawful orders.

Hard to believe that he was a JAG attorney. It isn’t “his” military and they should disobey unlawful orders.

Yes they very well should be disobeying unlawful orders. In fact, they have a legal obligation to do so. I hope our service people (and they are ours, all of America’s, not Trump’s) will remember they have an obligation to support and defend the constitution and the people of the nation and to disobey any and all illegal orders and I hope that they remember that just like how at Nuremberg “I was following orders” was not a valid defense for Nazi soldiers that when the current administration is eventually gone and there are hopefully trials for everyone involved that it won’t be a valid defense then.

If democrats ever take control again they better prosecute everyone of these traitors and fuck how it might look. Make an example so they will never do it again.

What even is the argument here?
That they SHOULD be obeying unlawful orders?
What are these people even saying? Do they even realize that they are telling people the military should obey and do things that are illegal just because Trump says so? It’s fuckin crazy. They are admitting they are asking them them do things against the law and are pissed people are suggesting they shouldn’t do so

Uh, they absolutely should be disobeying unlawful orders. Graham is such a fucking hack

If this was anything other than Faux News, I’d expect the hosts to ask a simple question: “if a military member was ordered to execute an innocent child, you would expect them to obey?”
