DC is pretty strict and efficient about holding rallies, marches and permits.
Right after J6 Alex Jones was bragging about how he and Trump planned to lead the march to the Capitol. And how he had helped get the permits for the rally at the Eclipse near the White House
So I started Googling, and yep, they had permits for that rally. And had to make sure there would be things you’d need for a large event like EMTs and such.
But the permits were specifically for the Eclipse rally. Not a march. Or a rally outside the Capitol. They could have easily scheduled just a Capitol rally, or even all three. Since they were planning it anyway.
Nope, they made sure to alert all the necessary authorities that there would be a large rally near the White House, not miles away at the Capitol.
So all the local authorities would have had police and security stationed near the White House for a large rally. Not along a march. Or at the Capitol.
Essentially ensuring the Capitol wasn’t guarded as heavily as it should have been.
