Make that inner hole smaller to ensure he can’t climb through. Put four screw, make another one on the other side. Reinforce with bracket. Pre-drill holes so you dont crack it like you just did. Use security screw if you can. Bonus point if it an qctual security screw that isn’t the standard.
Also, make sure the screw isn’t protruding to the other side. You can be held liable if someone walks by and has to get tentus shot.

How’s the barking situation? I owned a home with a chain link fence and my dogs could see everything going on and rarely barked. Moved to a home with a privacy fence and they barked at every thing that came close. I think it was the fact they couldn’t see.

That dog is gonna get so much glory.

That dog can 100% get out. I’d put mesh or a plastic bubble around the hole JIC.

If I know little stinkers as well as I think I do… he’s gunna find an excuse and a way to wiggle through that

Most people put a plastic bubble on the other end so the dog can’t bite someone, and strangers can’t feed them.
Nice, dogs love to see outside
It seems cute until they get attacked or bite someone
I’m happy for your dog. There’s even enough room for petting hands to give him/her love.
I did this once for chipmunks. Ended up with a pretty neat gloryhole
I swear I heard him like, ‘Yo, somebody walk by so I can bark real quick!
I’ve seen some where the other side of the fence has a painted body with a head cut out (ex a cowboy or something). Pretty funny.
You’re CERTAIN your dog can’t jump through it? Almost looks big enough, especially if the dog squeezed through, which they can do.
one brave squirrel and he’s jumping through that
I have one too! It’s much smaller and lower cause our guy is much smaller.Â
I made a plug for it with a butterfly bolt and a couple of pieces of scrap for when we’re dog sitting the neighbors miniature dachshund
aww what a cutie
Bro is jumping out as soon as he sees a squirrel
I love seeing these
You’re a good dog owner. More people should be like you.
That dog can totally fit through that hole
Why not put in a doggy window? Like a little bubble I see in most fences for dogs these days.. that way he can still see pit and no risk of escape!

“Hey, other dog! F***You!”
Chicken wire next.
If I were you, redo it.
