    1. Throughout history, especially in long wars, armies often melted down church bells to cast cannons or ammunition. Bronze was valuable, and when resources ran low, bells were one of the first things repurposed for weapons

      A month ago the hottest new conspiracy theory on TikTok was that church bells have magical healing powers and the reason you won’t hear many of them in Europe anymore is because the Jews want to keep the white race weak and ill or stupid shit like that

      In reality it’s because the Nazis melted most church bells between France and Russia for their metal during WWII and because the bell towers were built around the bells. So when the bells were gone it was impossible to reinstall new bells without reaping at least one side of the bell towers
