I believe Steve Jones, who was working crew for the show, stole the equipment at the end of that tour and it became the equipment used by the Sex Pistols.

Wild to think Sid was just another kid in the crowd before becoming punk’s chaos poster child.
Gotta admit, Sid rockin’ up to a Bowie gig is kinda peak punk irony and I’m 100% here for it.
