Aude Aussilloux and Maud Mulliez worked on a wall-mounted fresco for seven months, using antique technique. For this purpose, they made their own work tools and used non-artificial pigments. The men finally managed to recreate the fresco from Vindobona. [744×557]

I believe that the names Aude and Maud make it likely that they were women, not men. Commenting since the post identifies them as men.
Hardly to call it artifact, although it’s beautiful and historically inspired.
