In Brazil you can bring whatever food you’d like into the theater.

That’s cool but also seems like a lot more people with hot, smelly food. Popcorn is one thing, having to sit wedged between a 100 people macking down on KFC and McDs sounds horrible lmao

    2. You can bring any food to a theater in any country right? In England you can bring what ever you want.

In my local movie theater they won’t allow any snacks or food in, but I always have a few twix up my sleeve..

    4. I wonder if this is because of the reach of Hollywood’s lawyers. In the US theaters make virtually nothing from showing a movie. They are charged per person and per screening, the only profit the theater gets is food and drink. (I’m sure some of the big names like AMC and Cinemark probably negotiated some profit)

    5. Here we all believe we’re not allowed to bring snacks in, so we try to sneak in, true to be told I never seen someone having access to denied for having snacks

    6. Since when? I remember signs explicitly saying you can’t bring any food to the theater, unless you bought it there

They might’ve changed some law a few years ago, but I’m not sure. People always sneak it into their bags though

    7. You can do that in the US too. Ever since they did buying seats online, you can just walk right into the screening without talking to anyone. I see more and more people bringing in whatever and nobody says anything. And like the two visible employees on any given shift are busy serving other people.

Why is KFC like the most popular fast food chain in every country except America? I’ve never eaten KFC in my life and the majority people I know haven’t eaten it in years.

You can here in Korea as well, but the snacks at the theater are actually affordable. There’s also an employee who assists in sorting the trash after each movie.

    10. I’m impressed by the number of people that brought their trash out with them. When I worked at a movie theater, that garbage can was hardly ever full. The theaters were always littered with discarded soda cups, popcorn bags, and whatever food they brought with them. Dip cups were the worst to find.
