My grandparents were professional wedding photographers in the 1960s and 1970s, and it tickles me to recognize the “ok, your mother should fix your veil while you fix the corsage on the mother of the groom” shot, among other poses that are of the era. It’s also kind of interesting how nearly all of the older ladies back then posed stiffly with their arms at their sides, feet planted about 12 inches apart (although that might be more of a sturdiness factor, lol), and a demure expression.

Beautiful bride, adorable couple! Everybody looks genuinely happy and as though they love one another. ❤️
And, her travel pant suit is smart!! Very “on fleek” for 1970, and it makes me wish that elements of this aesthetic would be brought back.
I was a little kid in December 1970, but, this set of photos does a good job of capturing the feel of it.
