    1. For context:

This snowy owl was named Creamsicle or Rusty to those that live or lived in Michigan earlier this year. No one knows how it got it’s coloring, but the most likely hypothesized scenarios is it got caught in a spray of airplane deicing fluid since some can be a red orange, accidental staining, intentional staining from a research team, or nefarious staining because a bunch of people wanted to cause havoc and stress out the animal.

In any case, as far as we know, the owl seemed alright, so it wasn’t captured to test what was going on with it’s fashion statement of a coat of feathers.

    2. Looks cool, in the 2nd pic it looks like it’s telling the photographer “stop taking pics of me”

    3. Reminds me of the seagull that went full gremlin and dove into a pot of curry, people thought it was this golden new species. Nope. Just a gremlin seagull doing gremlin things

    4. That’s the smug satisfaction of a teenage owl whose mom said she wasn’t allowed to dye her feathers.
