On Veterans Day, I think of my first interaction with wounded Vietnam War veterans, who I visited as Miss World USA.
I think of how impactful it was.
It forever changed my view of war, of sacrifice, of honor, and of suffering.
I thank you today and every day for all you’ve done for our country, and I salute you.
