I wish he would run again and he would get my vote. That is an example of a not only a good president but a good man. I miss him so much.

No stage? No ego trip? The nigga is being filmed from several angles and the edited video made its way onto social media.

      C’mon now.

    3. My grandpa did an honor flight 3 years ago!! One of the final group of ww2 vets still alive to do them. He loved every minute of it and would have been thrilled to have met a class act president like Obama.

      That’s a commander and chief!!!

That’s still my president to this day. The best president I’ll likely get to see in my lifetime (at this point) and for it to be a black man.. I’m happy to see that.

    5. Man I forgot how it looks to have a president who actually acted like one. I’m sure not all of those vets were fans of his but they still gave him respect . I hope one day the position of the presidency will be respected again

    6. Obama was the first President I voted for with my whole heart and my own thoughts. I’d do it again a third time. The man had his flaws, but damn do I miss empathy and compassion. He is and will always be a class act.

I would say “no theatrics and no tantrums for attention”, personally, but point made. Obama is a class act and represents the best of this country even if I don’t agree with all of his decisions.

hapless pawns sacrificed to imperialism. Reject the blatant lie that veterans were “protecting our country.”

Proud moment as a veteran, getting to report on the troops who were stationed at DC during his first inauguststion, I will never forget being there!! I wasn’t *there*, I was a few blocks away with my other soldiers listening to the live broadcast but also you could hear him from where were were too. And the crowd. I was 19 years old at the time, I’ll never forget it.

    10. It’s crazy to consider how many of those guys may have badmouthed Obama over the years, only to meet him, unexpected, in such a show of grace and gratitude.

And I say that as a veteran, myself. Our community does such a shit job at being apolitical, much less unbiased, as the service requires.

I remember Trump’s first campaign while I was still enlisted. Someone tried to convince me to vote by arguing “republicans are the party that gives us more money”. And that argument sways most(despite being probably false).

I, being 19 and apolitical, still had the wherewithal to immediately respond: “if we’re only 1% of the population, why would I vote to benefit such a small group, instead of voting to benefit everyone else?”

Imagine Donald Trump doing something like this without 50 cameras focusing on him and him not making this about himself . . . . . . Yeah, I can’t either.

I think my brain is broken. This 100% looks like ai to me. I literally can’t tell what’s real anymore.

As someone who has given some big speeches and presentations, the idea of reading off a teleprompter for a lot of the stuff Trump uses one for is insane.

If all you have to do is thank a group of people in a pretty culturally standardized way it’s much easier to just say it than to read what someone else wrote for you.

He’s always such a class act.

I miss having a president I was proud to have representing the country. 🙁

    15. I wish the veterans that brought terror around the world and still support the military a miserable day.

All those old guys smiling their asses off. I wonder (a) who they voted for and (b) if they’d be smiling so wide if the guy they voted for had shown up instead.

    17. My husband served 13 years in the Navy and today he successfully had his kidney transplant after being diagnosed with kidney failure a week before I gave birth to our now 9 month old son. He is well and currently in recovery. This Veteran’s Day is a good one. Happy Veteran’s Day to my husband and all who served. ❤️
