They’re getting exactly what they voted for and then some

    1. I feel bad for people who voted correctly. Trump voters, non voters, and 3rd party voters can go run into a wall 🤷🏾‍♂️

    2. I hate how people NEED to see the bad things happen before they realize their mistakes. All the warnings in the world just won’t do anything.

    3. Sometimes you gotta let folks have it so they can see how terrible it really is….so when it’s time to put that fake, boring, stale, caveman shit down nobody will miss it.

    4. Plain and simple, she was a woman. I cannot tell you how many “joe and the hoe” bumper stickers I have seen, but the misogyny killed her before she even started. Then she herself fumbled by stumping with cheney instead of Walz. And then she was black on top of all that

It’s funny in an infuriating way that the misogyny always says that women are too emotional and yet look at the stroke toddler we have. I swear people will do anything but confront their own prejudices

I knew it was gonna be bad, but I’m actually surprised by how bad this is getting. “Both sides are le bad” got us here and will get us here again

I genuinely think many people knew things would get bad if Trump were re-elected, they just assumed the chaos wouldn’t come for them.

Sometimes when i read about something else abhorrent Trumps does, i like to browse r/conservative to see how they feng shui it into being good and/or ‘liberals marxists’ making things up

    8. There is the whole thing of them posting vids about how they regret their votes and all that and you know what? Fuck’em. The orange dickbag said what he was gonna do, we warned them of project 2025 and all that and they still voted for his dumbass. So I don’t give a shit about ‘welcoming them’. Fuck all of them.

More so than anything, I hope when we post stuff at this point we’re advocating for investing into quality education; figuring out how to address biases in ourselves and our loved ones, so maybe we can help others; actively fighting the authoritarian regime by getting involved however you can (community garden, free swaps, organizing).

We get it, it’s beyond awful that we’re here. But, as others have said, this is hurting all of us.

    10. The suffering is the feature most of them voted for. They’re ok with white kids going hungry if it means some brown ones do too

    11. Some people voted because they wanted to jump on the bandwagon. Social media psychosis. It’s cool to be against normal things now. Say something crazy get attention. It’s stupid but it’s everywhere. Mainstream media is doing it now too. That’s how we got here.

You don’t know how many FBAs I’ve seen say that they’re staying in the couch instead of voting for anyone. Now much Black History is being erased and yet they’re still saying that they’re pro black.

    13. Okay, my kids might be starving and I have no job, and America probably won’t be a democracy in 2029, but at least I stuck it to that woman who thought she could tell me what to do.

Trump isn’t shutting down the government though. Democrats have voted against reopening the government countless times now.

    15. As a non- American I was thoroughly confused by the” both sides are the same” argument to not voting. From the outside, it was a clear difference one guy was gonna steal and grift the most, and the other party was gonna keep the status quo, but at least reform could be a reality.
