Y’all need to learn how FAA Controller Scheduling, Airspaces, and Airports work.
If the larger planes could take off from the smaller fields the private jets are leaving from they would take advantage of the additional slots. But they can’t, so they aren’t.
The issue isn’t with the RAPCONs which control the vast majority of US Airspace. It with how many planes can be handled by each Tower at the Airports with reduced Controller presence.
Additionally even if there’s reduced RAPCON ability, smaller planes can fly VFR through anything but Class A airspace. Which means they’re not really talking to the Controller, they’ve checked in, but they’re not the Controller’s responsibility.
