Do you actually think about the purposes of the different spaceship parts?
For example do you tell yourself “Well the spaceship will need a shield to go through the atmosphere… probably needs some fuel tanks as well ….” and then design what it will look like?
Or is it more “Well to balance the whole structure i need something roundish at the top, and something in the middle. Ah yes i know, fuel tanks could do”?
I have absolutely 0 visual imagination so i’m curious.
