    1. 😂 Texas sucks.

In California you have to be a U.S. Citizen and a resident of the state to even register to vote in California.

Why is Texas even allowing Non U.S. citizens and Non Texas residents the opportunity to even register?

      Seems fishy.

I hope the next Dem President sends the National Guard federal agents down to Texas to arrest people and throw them in jail over this.

I’m a native Texan who’s been living in Seattle for fifteen glorious years. When people ask where I’m from, I tell them and then joke:

      > “Don’t worry, I’m fully rehabilitated! I’ve done the time, attended all my twelve-step meetings, and I’ve got the coins to prove it.”

Jokes aside. Seriously, that state is a fucking disease. We need an actual, formal rehabilitation program for them.

    3. “Solving problems that don’t actually exist.”

That’s about as on-the-nose as it gets for conservatism.

    4. You ever come across an article, or maybe a YouTube vid talking about weird laws in state constitutions? You know, the one’s like it’s illegal to feed an ostrich by hand on the 3rd Sunday of March, in Kansas (not a real one, but you get what I mean).

This passed law in Texas will be in one of those vids. Also going to find it real ass funny in the midterms when they see some statewide seats get gobbled up by Dems and they cry RIGGED! Only for someone to point to this “Law” confirming it’s by their own measure, not rigged (it was never rigged).

Some local governments allow all permanent residents to vote in local elections.

The purpose of this amendment was to prevent local (“small”) governments from operating in a way that their residents prefer.

I’m surprised they didn’t also outlaw ranked choice voting.

🤣🤣 good lord these folks are just dumb af even the Ws they think they get are sad and pathetic and often lacking intelligence.

For “reasons,” it’s expensive as hell to get a ballot measure. So when you see something that feels way too obvious as a good thing, chances are, it’s some malfeasance dressed up to look like common sense.
