This reminds me of the elevators in Venice… so tiny I would close my eyes and pretend I was on a huge football field when I would have to ride them. And I would always pray that the elevator didn’t get stuck with me in it, because I would probably prefer death over being trapped in that tiny box. 😄

Old building that at some point added a 1 person elevator, there are quite a lot around in italy, this one looks like it got replaced/modernize recently, old ones have stupid gate doors, the worst ones have 2 separated manual doors, one for the elevator and one for the elevator shaft
