This a Greenwich Armour that were made in mid to late 1500s , literally the best armour. Not every medieval armour were as flexible as Greenwich Armour.

Incredible…I’d have thought they were about as flexible as concrete.

See also a more modern film [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-bnM5SuQkI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-bnM5SuQkI) in which a contemporary man in armour demonstrates the exercise programme of the famous knight Jean le Maingre, known as Boucicaut, documented in the early 15th century.
I’d say it’s much more flexible than some modern clothing and footwear 😉 This level of flexibility is probably impossible considering modern body armor requirements. I mean, to provide both bullet and stab protection the protective layers must probably be much thicker. Medieval armor would be pretty useless against 9mm pistol, but probably pretty effective against knife attacks.

I wonder how many times their skin would get pinched by the joints
Fluffy-Arm-8584 on
Except for the part where the joints was absent from the armour itself, usually being used a chainmail underneath to protect those areas

Can you imagine the pinch if you caught your skin in any of those bendy bits.
