The previous commissioner was a young woman who rank and file hated because they said she lacked any experience with firefighting. They had no issue with Tucker also having zero experience. So good riddance. Glad he left on his own terms a little over a year into the job. Quitting when you can’t work with a boss because you are so concerned about Israel is weird… because last I checked this job was called the Fire Department of NEW YORK Commissioner role.
