I have a scraping pipeline for my side project site https://nipponhomes.com for homes in Japan. Today, I ended up creating an average price per map in Japan. Been thinking about this for a while now, and finally executed it today. I ended up using ~95,000 used homes from sites like Suumo and Athome.
Been thinking about this more lately on if I should create a new site for these analytics , or if I should tightly integrate it into the current site. Anyways, here is a sneak peak of it! What caught me by surprise are the high house prices near Mt. Yukikura. This area is called Hakuba, and from my research, it is a travel destination for its scenery.

Please stop…. Japanese people are already struggling with affording day to day things, we don’t need foreigners to drive up property prices too.
Yea
Since the economic crisis the housing market is fucked
And the aging population of course
What is the place in the middle?
