People shouldn’t regret it. This will produce an opportunity for the country to Plug in all the holes that are being exploited by the Trump administration to do damage.
His presidency is needed to reveal these flaws so they could be fixed to make the system more robust so that in the future, a more competent authoritarian can’t have his way.
The more evil he gets, the better for identifying the holes that need to be fixed via a constitutional amendment, etc.
