I recognize that Smith Corona logo from typewriters. What’s it doing on a toaster??

It will not surprise me if that thing actually works.

Probably works better and will last longer than most toasters made today.
It’s a keeper …
Or sell it to the Smithsonian Institution

We have my in-laws’ 1957 Fridgidaire By General Motors fridge. It still works, good as new. And we recently found the owner’s manual in a box of papers – my in-laws never threw anything away.

I wish they still had the color gradient for settings on today’s toasters
Time to break in that bad boy.
I used to have that exact model
it’s sturdy as hell.
Have you tried to return this to Costco yet?
Might be worth something to a collector!
Did you get it from the bank for setting up a new account?
The only toaster you’ll ever need….
I hate that I went into this expecting a solid metal beast from the 1950’s, and got the mid-70’s instead.
Twenty years ago was 1985, dammit!
I’d say I’ve seen one of these I’m sure I have but probably haven’t seen one since I saw one physically lol. Phew!!!
That toaster’s been waiting half a century to fulfill its destiny. Legendary patience.
That’s cool. Perfect technology – toasters hasn’t changed.

Expect it to last the rest of your natural life.
It probably works better than today’s toasters.
