Natural development since women have a longer expected lifespan too I guess? Probably the male-dominated states are also related to how people live (mountain and desert regions with agriculture and mining being more prevalent? I’m slightly surprised CO is above 50% though.

I imagine in places like North Dakota, you have men traveling there to work in areas like mining.
It’s ironic that women are often considered a minority, when it’s the men who technically are.

Weird way to say it when almost all states have more women than men except the more rugged states. Since women have a higher life expectancy, I’d expect the population in most states to trend toward women.
