    1. I’ve watched it. Overall a pretty good series, but I’d recommend reading the manga after to clarify a few scenes.

    2. instructions unclear, watched hellsing 2001 instead

fr tho, its vibes are 10/10, but the story just drops to 3/10 midway (cuz the latter half is anime original as the manga was still ongoing).

    3. Yes, and it’s kinda sad that today’s weebs only seem to know the abridged version but not the actual story.

    4. Hellsing Ultimate Abridged is some of the best stuff on the internet and I wholeheartedly reccomend it alongside SAO abridged and DBZ abridged (the latter by the same studio/channel)

    5. I don’t know what you’re implying. Seras Victoria had a totally normal, not at all traumatizing childhood. Nothing bad ever happened to her, at all, ever. Now, excuse me while I go sit in the corner and stare into space for a few hours…

    6. I tried, can’t do it. I loved the 6-part series, but Ultimate just gives me the pinnacle of edgelord cringe vibes, and I can’t make it past the first couple of episodes (and I tried a few times).

    7. Are we going to gloss over the fact that the Church did what the Church does best to Alucard as a child?

    8. I have watched it, it’s decent but it have some very obvious flaws that almost ruins the show. In short, Alucard is way too powerful which ruins the tension, and well the villians is pretty much ass. The concept was good but the execution is mid.

The 2001 Hellsing anime has better music and overall vibe. The story is worse though even if the story ain’t that great for Hellsing Ultimate either.

My favourite story about Hellsing ultimate abridged (which is true, taka mentioned it when AliciaxLife was reacting to it) is when it was shown at an Australian convention, and when the “we are Nazi’s” part came up, the entire room started shouting S.. H.. (you know what I’m talking about, I just don’t feel comfortable typing it) along with the characters, shocking the team (organisers, idk what term to use here)

    10. One of my all time favourites, if not my favourite. Sadly there isnt a lot of anime like it. ^^I have watched this up and down like 6 to 8 times including the abridged version. When i am down, this is one of the things to reach for. So yeah, i highly recommend it, it is pure joy.
