This made me realize something.
Every time some random person posts a bad taste meme about republicans, the republicans act like it came directly from the White House. They act like democrats are a monolith and they are all behind some meme that coulda been made by a troll in another country. Idk.
So it makes sense to appeal to that group, who clearly doesn’t understand the internet very well, by using memes. Someone has posted soo many AI videos and memes directly from the administration social media pages that there is no possible way to confuse it for some random troll. No, it’s coming directly from the horses mouth. So of course he is trying to tie “people are tweeting it” to some kinda fact. More than likely just more trolls. But the republicans eat it up.

Accountability during interviews isn’t rocket science. Journalism as a career should require basic skills. He hasn’t changed in over a decade, except on the decline. Media incompetence in handling this basic liar has made them culpable.
