    1. Absolute legends of comedy. Their films are timeless, funny and rewatchable to this day!

    2. I believe that’s “Curly Joe” DeRita with Larry and Moe there. He was the last person to fill the third slot in the Stooges, after the OG Curly, Shemp, and Joe Besser.

For years they were tricked by the studio heads to convince them they were not as popular as they were so they could underpay them.

    4. I love Moe’s laugh at the end of this video. He breaks character and you see the real person

    5. When we were kids would play at being the three Stooges all the time. One day one of us is “Moe”, and he’s running around the house being chased by “ Curly”.
So Moe turns the corner jumps a 180 “ whoop whoop whoop” and does the two fingers to the eyes! Curly is surprised and forgets to put his hand up to block.

      “YeeeOuch” straight into the eyes

      Next stop the hospital !
I don’t remember anyone actually going blind but we were Not Allowed
to watch The Three Stooges ever again

    6. A lot like pro wrestling, Larry’s selling (acting) as if there’s a lot of pain involved is what makes it work.

Ah yes, the iconic nose twist, so bizarre and old school, what’s not to love about it? 😂

There’s a Iggy Pop interview where he recounts speaking to Moe Howard on the phone asking permission to use “The Stooges” as his band’s name
