We’re living in a country that trump would call “a shit hole”

I get the comparison… but anyone who believes that life in the US is even remotely similar to life in North Korea has no idea what they’re talking about.

Imagine if you held an anti-Trump sign on the corner, and the government didn’t just abduct you, but also your kids and your parents. 3 generations sentenced to life imprisonment at a labor / death camp with no chance of escape. No way to appeal the decision. Zero recourse at all.

That isn’t an exaggeration, and it’s precisely why – when you see footage of people in the presence of Kim Jong Un, they are literally throwing themselves at his feet with tears streaming down their faces.

Because if you *don’t* do that, there’s a very real possibility that you and your entire family will die.

Very few countries on the planet are that extreme. I can only think of North Korea and Eritrea. It’s a toss-up between everyday life in one of those countries, vs. living in an active war zone.

Regardless of how shitty things are under Trump, we’re not even close to that in the US.
