Why not just agree with them and publicly replace ObamaCare with the ACA? Conservatives would get to strut around thinking they pulled one over on the liberals while actually continuing to provide good health care to everyone. Win – Win.

Too bad they’ll never find out how much cheaper it is to pay for universal healthcare through taxes than to pay the middlemen known as for-profit insurance companies. And then deductibles and copays.
IIRC, Obama said (I’m paraphrasing), “You’ll know when the ACA is successful when the Republicans stop calling it Obamacare.”

It was a grave strategic failure by the Democrats not to fully adapt the term Obamacare and get rid of the abbreviation ACA. The Republicans knew that their voters are mostly on the simple side and are easy to manipulate, because many still think there is a difference.
