    1. I remember the craze! My best friend got a backgammon set (yes the one you pictured in your head… two tone brown vinyl padded case) and taught me to play. I haven’t played since 1978!

      I’m a decent Backgammon player, but I’d go easy on her for reasons.

      That said, I have no idea what is happening in that game, lol.

    4. The rise of backgammon was weird- literally everyone in my extended family and my parents friends had a backgammon game, yet nobody ever played it. It was super popular and then vanished from the culture.

    5. Nice hobby for the Bicentennial. I think backgammon got more popular in the Big 80’s though…. In the 70’s it was all about YoYo’s, and maybe Twister with this girl?!? 😉
