I truly do appreciate the enthusiasm for Zohran but can we wait for him to win first?

I mean this isn’t the first time this has been said, Warren, Sanders, AOC, Pressley.
So many Dems have been trying to tell voters this. He isn’t bringing some new messages. But if it’s resonating from him then by God I hope it shifts into a whole new movement

Latest news is they’re thinking of ways to deport him. Shameless.

Sanders walked so Mamdani could run.
Seriously though, pay attention to how people like Mamdani are treated. I still remember earlier this year where people like Harris wouldn’t even acknowledge him by name. Why not?

Non-American here. This election is still going on? When does it end?

I’m team Zohran but can the dude get in office and actually do something first?
People keep saying they hope its a “tea party” moment as if the tea party didn’t lead to republicans getting their shit ran in a lot of easily winnable elections for them. I hope Zohran does well and can accomplish something. I’m very firmly on team “Lets see what ultra liberal NY is willing to do and how it works.”
But excitement for the sake of excitement don’t move me anymore. Feels like people are trying to stan politicians instead of just treating them like elected officials and its that kinda bird brained mentality that got us into this mess.

You can’t tax billionaires if you need their monetary support and the support of their social media and news algorthyms to win.
Mamdani doesn’t need that because he’s a genius grassroots organizer who is charismatic. Most Democrats don’t have that, and need to take corporate money to keep the oligarchs from going all in on Republicans…

A tenner he’ll be clapped shortly after the election.

Notice how the post says “planting” they way it can be backtracked.
Nothing we’ll happen even if he gets in.
On today’s program to distract the masses

What is with people in this thread dismissing Mamdani’s ideas because he hasn’t won?
Lots of folks who changed society didn’t hold public office. It’s completely immaterial to the topic whether he has won an election or not.

I agree and I think this is relevant
