Most of the bottles (small and big) were listed as 0%, a few in that left row were 10%.

    2. Because they can charge you 4-5$ more for the 100% california version. Then another 1-2$ more for less but you get an aluminum can.

The 10% is also a lot closer to going off than the newer 0% ones

    3. This brand has a “California only” blend that is significantly more expensive. US olive oil is expensive y’all.

    4. This is because the name of the company is regulated by the state of California.

California had to pass a law to force them to do this, prior they were sneaking non-CA grown olives into their oils with tiny print before this, so they changed the law in 2022.

Here’s a long blog post on the issue:

    5. This is specifically their global blend. They have a 100% California option as well as other options. Used their products for years.

    6. This is the global blend, meaning it’s a mix of different olives from around the world. Sometimes they have olives from Cali and sometimes the batches don’t.

    7. Ah I was so confused- I looked at the one on the left saying 10%. Didn’t notice some others saying 0%

    8. The one next to it on left says 10% … did someone photoshop out the one on the right two? But forget the other one

    9. Global batch uses olive oil from other places, they have a cali only batch but it’s more expensive. Several brands have single source oil for enhanced flavor or blends for just cooking.

    10. It’s a global blend, if you look at their website they have 100% and other various blends it just depends on the type

    11. It’s a bit like “Greenland Elephant’s rescue ranch”.

Maybe in California are no virgins anymore, so that’s why.

Next you’ll be expecting all the chicken from Kentucky Fried Chicken to come from Kentucky!

    13. Looks like a printing error. The QR code is even shifted in the 0% ones- like it was just not quite aligned right

I’m guessing they offer a variety of blends at different price points, or blend as necessary to keep up with production ? I don’t know … we get olive oil from exactly two places: Costco’s gallon jugs, and then an arabic market for the good stuff.
