Does anyone recall how to eat these straight from the box with milk? Has anyone ever attempted it?

So many memories!
Nowadays those packs of mini-boxes are almost entirely kid-oriented, mostly sugary cereals (plus Rice Krispies with those three noisy sprites: children of course dumped sugar on it), but back in the day they were more like this, mostly minimally sweetened adult cereals with some children’s treats thrown in.
My favourite of them all was Pep — slightly sweet, vitamin-fortified whole-wheat-and-bran flakes (invented as a rival to Wheaties, which were never sold in Canada as far as I know, at least never where I lived). They were *incredibly* flavourful: I liked them better than kids’ cereals like Captain Crunch and Apple Jacks (both of which were also delicious, of course). Whenever we got one of those multi-packs, which wasn’t often, I always claimed the Pep and nobody contested me because nobody else wanted it.
