Not gonna comment on the Islam side. But the thing about Catholic clergy being forbidden to marry is completely man-made.
The Gospels (specifically Jesus’ teachings) don’t mention anything about leaders being unmarried, and iirc, Paul suggested that church leaders should be selected from married men so as to keep them grounded and tied to the community.
I don’t have any personal problems with Catholic believers, but some of their doctrine and traditions annoys/infuriates me.

In islam, you ‘can’ have 4 wives, not have to have 4 wives. There are conditions that need to be met first. You have the resources to meet every individual wife’s material and physical needs.
Also the 4 allowance was for when most men died during war, their wives were left homeless and jobless. This marriage was allowed to stop them from going on the streets. It is actually preferred to marry widows as your extra wives.
Statistically 99% on Muslim men still only marry one wife.
