The little dude was just chilling on our bathroom wall, I smashed it, and it left a stream of purple blood(?) running down the wall. I’ve killed many of these things over the years, living in a mildly wooded area, but have never in my life seen a color other than clear or slightly yellowish in the aftermath.

    2. I guess its favorite beverage was purple.

When I was younger, my mother told me that if I drink all that Mountain Dew, that my insides will turn that color……I guess I didn’t drink enough to find out.

You did not squish a roach, you squished an alien prince! That is some dune level biology! I demand a lore explanation!

      Wild theory for ya:
      .
      1. Certain pesticides and roach baits make their blood/guts turn BRIGHT blue

      2. Female roaches that are about to lay eggs often leave a big red/orange splat when squished because they’re producing a bunch of extra protein for the eggs

      3. Blue + Red = Violet Violence?

Could it have been crushed near some ink or dye? Purple seems way too vibrant to be natural.

OK, so just post that … man the roaches protectors on reddit gonna eat you apart now.

    8. Oh, now you’ve done it. He was the Chosen One.

Now their vengeance will be swift and merciless.
