Funny question I would call that a boat not a ship. So then where is the line between a boat and a ship? Thinking about it, my sense is that a boat would be designed to support you for a short period of time whereas a ship could be designed to support people for a longer period of time. So a boat would be suitable for maybe one or two day trip and a ship would be able to support people for much longer periods of time, besides of course, usually the size difference as well.
