I went to a church when I was a teen, they were talking down to people that was not giving money. They told people that they need to dig deeper in their pockets, I couldn’t believe it… old ladies were writing checks for $500, all while they are living on a fixed income and gave away most of their money…. I was appalled, the preacher left smiling.

    3. News flash for anyone reading this:

If this is what church looks like for you, you’re not being lead by a godly person. Church should be a place where you’re learning about how much God loves you, that you’re worthy even if you have nothing to give, that nothing you do (good or bad) will ever change how your Savior feels about you. That’s it, nothing else. No condemning, no judgement, none of that— if you think church should be about that or rules or whatever the Old Testament teaches, I implore you to read Hebrew’s 10 and accept the life that Jesus died for rather than fighting against it.

    4. She was probably so proud to have the money and bring it to her church, then only to be ridiculed for it not being enough. smh

    5. most alarming part to me of this wasn’t the fact that some ass hole had the audacity to be a preacher and abuse his power but the laughter from the entire congregation… To me that is way more concerning that many were okay with that line of disrespect on a donation, from a preacher no less.

They want to know why religion is dying… it’s because it has become a business, and even with the tax breaks the ones doing it right barely keep the lights on and these ass holes are out there in a fit that cost more than the car someone drove there.

    6. George Carlin: *Religion has actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever ’til the end of time! BUT He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He’s all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can’t handle money!*
