The figures beard and distinct seating position match Sai Baba of Shirdi. Indian Guru. Wiki article [here](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sai_Baba_of_Shirdi). If you Google him there are a few pictures of him posing exactly as in this statue.
Where did you find this statue geographically? It was probably placed in the river in ritural.
