A contractor I work with was excavating a trench in San Francisco and unearthed a buried headstone.
The area they were working in used to be a burial plot in the old days. After doing some digging I was able to find some information about this person:

Did you guys power wash it? That’s a remarkably clean headstone for 1) being buried and 2) being from 1882.
she very well could have been alive during Thomas Jefferson’s and John Adams’s lives (died 7/4/1826)
that makes it even cooler to me for some reason
advice: dig a little deeper
